The Aug. 14 jazz concert by Dr. Jass & The Heartbeats enjoyed a very enthusiastic crowd, which spontaneously got up and started marching around the room when the band played “When the Saints Go Marching In.” Performers were: Dr. Claudio Zamorano, a local cardiologist, who played cornet and piano and sang a few songs; Mike Buskirk, trombone and vocals; Dale Knighton, banjo and vocals; Suzanne Knighton, bass and vocals; Gerry Reynolds, drums; and Robert Tarallo on clarinet. About 90 people attended the program at the Community Presbyterian Church of Payson.
