Jake Sleeper’s lead-off single was one of only two points the Payson Longhorns put on the board in their March 15 contest with the Show Low Cougars; the other was a home run by Westin Gibson. The Horns face Alchesay on their home field today, March 18, in a double header.

Those patented late rallies that carried the Longhorn baseball team to a 13-11 win over Winslow and a 13-5 drubbing of Holbrook were nowhere to be found in a 13-2 loss to the Show Low Cougars.
