Tonto Village residents got a glimpse of what the old West was like last week. The annual migration of the cattle from the high country to Little Green Valley pastures came through the Village to the delight of everyone. The drovers and the dogs did a great job of keeping the cattle on the move.

Last week I said that the frost was on the pumpkin and this week, I have to say that the frost has melted! The weather changed dramatically from cold to Indian Summer. The cold spell lasted long enough to wipe out our garden except for one lone eggplant.
