Stories this photo appears in:
A dramatic discovery. A mysterious death. An endangered history. The neglected, overgrown grave of David Gowan in a tangled thicket along Deer Creek has it all. Gibson plans a March 10 project with as many volunteers as he can muster, after having labored for eight months to win permission from the U.S. Forest Service to restore the abandoned gravesite.
