Sil Egler (right), financial secretary for Council 9995, presented a check for $800 to Jim Bridges, co-chairman of the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank for Payson and the Rim Country. The local Council raised the funds by participating in a statewide Knights of Columbus fund-raising raffle event.

In response to recent news of the funding crisis faced by St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, the Knights of Columbus Council 9995 from St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Payson made a substantial donation to help the needy and marginally employed in the Rim Country.
