The Gila County Master Gardeners are hosting a Spring Gardening Workshop from 8:45 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 24 at the Payson Masonic Lodge, 200 E. Rancho Road. The program is free. Speakers will discuss seed starting; water wise gardening/rainwater collection; easy garden irrigation; making and using vermicast (worm compost); and soils, compost and mulch.
