The fish didn’t cooperate at the 13th Annual Willow Springs Fall Classic trout tournament. Only 52 fish were caught by participants in the event, which marks the end of the fishing season in Rim lakes. Former Payson resident Ed Heinecke (inset), won biggest fish honors with a nice-sized 21.50-ounce trout. Heinecke also finished third overall in the fray.
