Gila County will conduct the third quarter online auction to dispose of surplus property beginning Monday, September 8, 2014. Featured items are miscellaneous office furniture and equipment and 46 various automobiles, including cars, trucks, vans, and two steel water tankers.

The deadline for Gila County residents to register to vote in the Aug. 26 Primary Election is Monday, July 28. To register, an individual must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old by Election Day, reside within Gila County and have no felony convictions, unless civil rights have been restored. Registrations forms are available online at http://www.gilacountyaz.gov/how_do_i/register_to_vote.php. You can also obtain forms at the post office or the county elections office in Payson or Globe.
