Discuss your personal experience that's most relevant to serving on the Council. There is not "one" personal experience that is most relevant. What is most relevant has been the opportunity to represent 2,300 plus constituents, and implementing and successfully following through to completion, projects on their behalf. What is the most important thing you would bring to the Council? Professionalism, common sense, experience and tenure.
Vern Leis was first appointed to the Star Valley Town Council in the spring of 2009. He was then elected to the job in the spring of 2010. At the time of his appointment he had been chair of the Star Valley Water and Sewer Commission for a short three months. Leis brought 25 years of experience as a national director with Foamex/General Felt Industries, where he opened and closed several plants and handled numerous negotiations.
