Discuss your personal experience that’s most relevant to serving on the council. I have strong, longstanding personal relationships, in business, and in my church. I get along with people well. I have been happily married for 35 years, raised my boys here, been in business for 25 years in Star Valley and have been working in the HVAC industry for 35 years in our area. I have served in several leadership and teaching positions at my church. I have been on the Gila County Appeals and Advisory Board for six years and currently serve as chairman. I listen well and I believe I can be a part of the Star Valley council that represents all the residents of Star Valley. Star Valley has a great staff and council and I want to be a part of it.
Bob O’Connor, 55, has been in the area since 1978 and has made his home in Star Valley since 1985. A veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees, O’Connor worked for two heating and cooling companies in Payson beginning in early 1979, and then in 1989 he started his own company, O’Connor Heating & Cooling. He and his family just celebrated 25 years in business in June.
