A short snow season

Arizona is an amazing state. For those who do not travel much it is nothing but a vast expanse of cacti, scrub brush trees and lots of sand. Not so. It is so much more. Just up the road from Payson, which is currently without snow, there is snow galore. Enough to slide on and into. It is a wonderful state of geography when one can hop in a car, drive about 10 to 30 miles and find themselves in a winter wonderland with fantastic views of God's country. So much so that it is difficult to decide where to look first, or last. Presented here are a few impressions of that white substance known as snow.

A stone portal tells the tale of winter at this summer residence in Forest Lakes.
