Sprint Triathlon June 16, 2009
This particular athletic event had a mixture of joy and sadness. A team was formed to race in honor of and in spirit to Cynthia Pool, a teacher of extreme talent, athletically, and through her ability to teach science and concepts sometimes not easily understood. There were nearly twice as many competitors this year. The race was well organized and began on schedule, with so many racers that was not easy. CEP Timing from Phoenix timed the event and had results posted quickly. Many thanks to them for their professional expertise. All photographs by Andy Towle/Roundup
