2010 Electric Light Parade December 8, 2010
Not much to say about light parades of any kind. Being from 'Back East' it was a new phenomenon when first encountered here. A novel idea to say the least. Perhaps because one had so many other activities to chose from, a light parade was not important or considered much of an activity. After all, the Mid-West has made a sport of just about everything winter; skiing, snowboarding, snowfights, ice-fishing, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobile races, ski jumping, ice sculpture, snow sculptures, sled-dog racing (the correct term by the way- it's not dog-sled racing, it's sled-dog), curling (huh?), [look it up], ice hockey, ice skating, sledding, and of course, last but hardly least, making snow forts that don't melt after a few days of sunshine.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
