Cade Donahoe, 6, smiles with fascination at a demonstration of modern day gold sifting with a gold recovery system. The hands holding the sifting dish belong to Larry Messick of Mesa facilitating the demonstration. The 14th Annual Gem and Mineral Show, a two-day weekend event held at the Mazatzal Casino this weekend attracted a sizable crowd of rock hounds and the curious.
