Last week’s brief dose of winter this week gave way to unseasonably warm temperatures. Today’s high of 68 will rise to a predicted 72 degrees for Thanksgiving and remain clear and warm throughout the holiday weekend. By next Tuesday, the US Weather Service is predicting a 10 degree drop in the high temperatures and a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms. So far this year Payson had gotten half its normal rainfall. November has so far yielded .73 of an inch compared to the normal 1.83 inches.
