Now if that was a 3A Championship in ACADEMICS, then we'd be on the right track.
Those gold-plated, plastic trophies for athletics don't count for much when you're trying to raise a family or get a good paying job.
Actually, they're damn near WORTHLESS.

Then again, with the educational policy of wingnuts like Tom Horne and Jan Brewer at the driver's seat of our educational apparatus, an education in Arizona IS pretty much "damn near worthless," so you've got that right.

What exactly makes them "wingnuts" in your view? Is it their lack of willingness to throw money at top-heavy (admin at top, students at the bottom) school systems that makes them evil in your eyes?
If you do some research you're sure to see this fact---Throwing massive amounts of taxpayers dollars into education DOES NOT equal better educated students.
Spending... and LEARNING... are two different things.
Why is it that liberals can never seem to comprehend this?

How much money was spent to get that trophy? Which kids will play sports next year when they have to pay? The ones that their parents have more money or the best players? How much school time is missed traveling to sports events? What is the cost of travel? Cross train the administration and the schools won't need so many at the top high level pay.

Yep Pat, cross training, we should have cross trained plumbers into heart surgeons and saved all this medical reform crap!

Shovelhead, Go out and play in the traffic. I know most men can't be cross trained or multi task. I think some of the heart drs. started out as plumbers or a friend of mine would not have had 3 heart surgeries in less than two years to keep repairing the first one. Total 4
