Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?

Perhaps another poll would be helpful.
The question:
$ Are you concerned that your home and property may become part of a permanent new taxation district?
$ No I'm not concerned, go ahead and tax me.

Although it was painful to listen to, I heard Kenny Who, Ed Blair and Mike Vogel on KMOG the other day. When a woman called in and asked if her property taxes could go up if the college was to be built, they were all in agreement. “A tax increase couldn't really happen,” was their consensus.
I don't think the school will ever happen. Since states can't “invent” money like our FedGuv does, and they absolutely must balance their budgets, there just isn't enough money to do it.
That's fine with me. I like Payson just as it is and don't want the problems that come with 6000 “young adults.” We could get along just fine without incidents like THIS: http://gothamist.com/2010/09/29/rutge…
