Not necessarily Tim. I'm a Republican and would like to see Kirkpatrick back in purely for the fact that she has done more for our communities then Gosar has, in my opinion, and other Republican folks I know agree with me.
I can't wait until the first debate between these two. I just hope she doesn't run away again with her skirt in a twist when the tough questions are asked of her.
One should have the whole story about Kirkpatrick's attempt to have a townhall meeting. Some folks clearly came to ambush her and were only there to be abusive, not to hear anything she had to say. She had no choice but to leave the meeting for her safety and the safety of those around her.
Chris my friend, "...leave the meeting for her safety and the safety of those around her..." Please be specific, who threatened her? Were the Police notified? Was anyone injured in the confrontation between her and her distractors?
Chris, Kirkpatrick was not more efficient in Washington than she had been in the Arizona legislature. Her liberal view is and has always been, government knows best.
The reason she left with her skirt in a twist was she had no answers to the questions being asked. She ran off to make a call to mother Nancy and get her take on what she should next. All the advise Nancy could give her was, tell them we must first sign it before we can find out what is in it. If that does not work, tell them it was Bush's fault.
This is the most interesting thread I have read. I can appreciate the comments of doing more for Payson, but I for one am not for anybody from Washington throwing tax dollars away for doing more. One of the issues I had with Mr. Renzi was he got lots of money for projects but that idea of pork has to go away, Until budget is under control, pork spending for non essentials needs to end. Should be an interesting election.

Wasn't Kirkpatrick the one that walked out of a meeting when people started asking questions?

It is evident that many more Democrats are readers of the Roundup then Republicans. :)
