The Horseshoe Fire, which was reported Wednesday morning has grown to 7 acres, but firefighters hope to have it contained sometime tomorrow.

The fire, caused by a campfire, is just west of Promontory Butte near Horton Creek. Resources still on hand from the February Fire, including three helicopters, are supporting 35 Tonto National Forest personnel, according to Payson Ranger District Fire Prevention Officer Gary Roberts.

Watch for more details in the Friday edition of the Payson Roundup.
