View photos taken shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 21, when a tanker truck containing a load of diesel fuel overturned on Highway 260 near Camp Tontozona igniting a fire that closed the road and burned half an acre.

The fire was contained by 10 a.m.

Fire crews from the U.S. Forest Service, Payson, Christopher-Kohl's and Diamond Star responded. In addition to four engines and the ground crews, the fire was being fought by helicopters and air tankers.

The blaze has been named the "Kohl's Fire" because of its location near Kohl's Ranch.

Black smoke from the burning diesel fuel was visible as far away as Pine.
