Golfing for charity

Several Rim Country charities will reap the benefits of the Community Chest Golf Tournament, held Monday at the Rim Golf Club.

Among those slated to receive contributions are Big Brothers Big Sisters, Payson Community Kids, Habitat for Humanity, Payson Gateway Project and the Payson Pro Rodeo Committee.

The tournament format was a two-person scramble that tipped off at 10:30 a.m.

Rim Club officials say the tournament is an opportunity for non-members to enjoy one of the state's finest courses.
