Man injured

There were no life-threatening injuries sustained in a Thursday morning accident, May 1.

The driver, an 18-year-old Payson man, crossed North Highway 87 from East Houston Mesa Road, crossed a field, hit the curb at Home Depot and became airborne, according to a statement from Payson Police.

His car came to rest in the store's parking lot, without hitting another vehicle.

He was taken to a Valley hospital by helicopter.
