Tonto Apaches honor Chief Campbell

Melton Campbell -- known by family, friends and the community as "Chief" Campbell, a nickname given him in childhood -- died 10 years ago Sept. 13. The Tonto Apaches commemorated the life of Chief Campbell in September.
Christopher Creek more peaceful with bypass

When Christopher Creek staged a festival last October to celebrate the new bypass that takes Highway 260 around this scenic community instead of through it, expectations were high.
Charm of Pine-Strawberry remains unchanged
