Points I found interesting in last nights meeting and questions that still remain:
During Mr. Lovetro's opening monologue, he stated that he had been looking into the possible conflict of interest regarding Tom Weeks prior to his finding out about the illicit Credit Card usages, which he became aware of in late October upon his return from a vacation. Yet later in the meeting, when the PSWID accountant was offering testimony on Mr. Greer's behalf, she stated she found the irregularities on the Credit Card in July, and brought it to Mr. Greer's and Mr. Lovetro's attention at that time. So unless I am mistaken, Mr. Lovetro seems to have been aware of this issue 3 months prior to when he admits he did.
We still have heard nothing regarding receipts that prove what Mr. Greer's so called "Legitimate Purchases" were for. Simply saying that the charges were to Home Depot, and therefore they MUST have been for district purchases does NOT pass the smell test. Having Purchase Orders means nothing if you do not have receipts to back them up. Any business owner knows this.
Why do we have an attorney present at the meetings?
Attorneys bill by the hour and I am certain Mr. Torrens is not attending these meeting for free. Is he on retainer? Was the expense of having an attorney present at board meetings voted on by the district board members?
Whose interests are Mr. Torrens really looking out for here?
Does the Fire Board have an attorney present at all of it's meetings?
Does the school board have an attorney preset at all of it's meetings?
Are our board members treading such a fine line that having an attorney oversee all meetings is a necessity?

Mr. Lovetro, Your treatment of one of the longest serving ELECTED board members was deplorable, and as Chairman, leaving it up to Tom Weeks to thank Mr. Don Smith for his years of service was a telling window into your character. Furthermore, I found it extremely interesting that one of your first orders of business was in calling out Mr. Sam Schwalm for stating on his website that he was a board member and proclaiming how you had Mr. Terrens draft a letter to Mr. Schwalm stating he cannot claim to be a board member until he takes his seat in January. Mr. Lovetro, are you aware that on the PSWID Website, under the "Board of Directors Info" listing, Mr. Schwalm is listed as a "Board Member"?
Mr. Lovetro and Mr. Greer, unless you are both incredibly tone deaf, I think you heard last night that an overwhelming amount of people in the PSWID area do not support your actions. If both of you gentlemen truly are only interested in doing what is right... then resign... and save us all the time, effort and money that a recall will entail.
Why isn't Mr. Greer being asked to reimburse ALL charges to the credit card that he has not provided receipts for? Without receipts are residents merely expected to accept the word of Mr. Greer and Mr. Lovetro that the charges were for PSWID materials?
Why is Mr. Lovetro more interested in protecting Mr. Greer than he is in securing the publics trust in the PSWID Board?
If Mr. Lovetro seriously had issues with a possible conflict of interest with Mr. Tom Weeks, and he was looking into it prior to Mr. Weeks bringing to light Mr. Greer's illegal use of the credit card, why did Mr. Lovetro only bring his concerns to light AFTER Mr. Weeks spoke and in an obvious attempt to deflect attention away from Mr. Greer's abuses and not during any time during the previous 2 years that Tom has been on the board? Is it any great secret in Pine the Tom owns Uncle Tom's Texaco Station?
Why is it the Mr. Lovetro seems to have an personal agenda that is being imposed on the PSWID board members and PSWID customers?

Mr. Lovetro seems to think that since Mr. Greer reimbursed the district for $2290.00, give or take a little, and "Apologized" for his actions, all should be forgiven.
NOT SO! Without having any receipts, Mr. Greer should be forced to reimburse the entire amount charged to the card. Simply by saying "Home depot charges were for PSWID business" does not cut it. He could have been buying gifts for friends, power tools for himself, materials for his own home, any number of things, and I for one am not willing to merely accept his word that they were "PSWID Purchases". If we don't have receipts... we have no proof.
Secondly, Mr. Lovetro seems to think of the PSWID as his on little fiefdom and that running things by intimidation and tit for tat accusations is the way he can get what HE wants out of the PSWID. Mr. Lovetro, the PSWID is set up for the betterment of the community, not for you to feel a sense of empowerment. You are personally responsible for making a small community organization a hostile environment where your own petty issues are played out in soap opera fashion. The stories and rumors surrounding the PSWID are unbelievable, and as a resident of Pine, I can say that we are too small of a community to be having these issues ruin what should be a straight forward organization.
Turbidity? No Problem... they have these crazy things called Filters. Problem solved. Tetra Tech recommended them and was set to install them, that is until Mr. Lovetro made dealing with the PSWID so uncomfortable that Tetra Tech washed their hands of us.
Mr. Greer and Mr. Lovetro BOTH need to step up and do the right thing... resign.
