Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?

Pat, I'll bet you have never met former officer Heflin.
What would be a descriptive word to describe someone who trash talks people that they've never met? I'm not referring to talking about politicians, as they're in a very different category. They're public figures. I'm just talking about average people like Mr. Heflin, who had over 15 years of actually helping people in our town, not just talking about it.
You still wanna talk cr** about him, Pat?

Music has a big influence on me.
Listen to Aaron Copland's “Fanfare for the Common Man” and think of how far off the track America has gone. See if it causes tears in your eyes. It sure does in me.

QUOTE: “I do not agree with Libertarians that we should ignore moral codes…”
Clarification: Libertarians believe that government has no business inventing or enforcing moral codes. That's quite different than your statement, isn't it?
QUOTE: “Libertarians …run willy nilly through the world without responsiblility.”
Nope. You got that one wrong, too.
You must have been hanging around some Libertarian imposters. Read their webpage and see what they REALLY believe :) http://www.lp.org/platform

QUOTE: “Why didn't the officers that knew Heflin was drinking alcohol and taking pain pills while on duty driving a police car arrest him for DUI?”
Uh, maybe because they're not complete as***les? Could that be the reason?
If any of your relatives are cops, Pat, why don't you ask them?
I'm very glad that you never ran anything more than a bar. You seem to have lost touch with how the real world operates. Your “questions” are little more than bomb-throwing and they accomplish… nothing.

QUOTE: “What right does the Government have to tell us what we can look at, purchase, use, ride, drive, associate with or communicate with?”
Congratulations! You seem to have just crossed over, from Republican to Libertarian.
That's the very same path that I took about twenty years ago.

so true: Quote: 1) Shouldn't make statements and quote times when working with any kind of govt. agency when you can't deliver.
Yeah, really! Guess all these “experienced negotiators” had never worked with any government entity before in their illustrious careers. :D
QUOTE: 2) Why did the town buy all the pipe until everything had been approved, signed, sealed and contracts in their hands?
Guess they're using the “Michael Horton” principle. Remember when he decided that a pipeline from Star Valley to Payson was going to get built, whether he had permission or NOT?
Hey! Wait a minute! Maybe they really should hire Mike Horton to get the pipeline done!

It's so very easy to paint the whole department with a broad brush. Easy, but wrong.
If it was ever true that “a few bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch,” then it's still true now. Don't judge the entire workforce by the questionable actions of a few individuals.
QUOTE: “And in what mindset is sexting a photo of ones genitals acceptable?”
Well, I asked my wife and she said it'd be OK, but only if I sent it to her. :D
Still waiting for someone to show me the Arizona statute where “sexting” between consenting adults is illegal. Can anyone show me that law?

I disagree.
Check out the definition:
specious:
1) Plausible but false
2) Based on pretense; deceptively pleasing
If using the word “specious” counts as a personal attack, then please cancel my posting privileges, A.S.A.P.
And if tactfully expressing a different viewpoint than another poster is considered “out of bounds,” ditto.
Never did had much respect for people that like to bully and then go crying to ADMIN if they didn't get their way.

QUOTE: “Get the people that made the pictures.”
But that's not how they're playing the game, is it? If there was an actual crime committed, then that info would be a major part of the prosecution, wouldn't it?
I'd bet a large sum of money that those people were never named (and never will be) .
