PSWID has tripled the monthly cost of water and can't seem to run the water business without corruption, infighting and accountability to those paying the bills.
Those who consume the water should be paying for the water, not spreading the costs to those who consume the least. The majority will NOT pay for the minority.
"You got some 'splainin to do Lucy" appears to be the mantra of PSWID.

Given that...answers are necessary.
We the people are paying the bills, and not getting answers.
We the people are tiring of the truth re-direction.
We the people have the means to topple liars.
PSWID is a publicly chartered organization who've created quite an environment for themselves.
They SELECT their own talking heads, while reducing the voices of those who challenge theirs.
There's no scrutiny for PSWID operations by the Arizona Corporation Commission. The ACC is the only AZ public oversight organization representing the taxpayers. The charter of PSWID circumvents this public oversight organization. Why?
Pine property owners / taxpayers pay the way for PSWID.
The majority of Pine property owners pay MORE than their fair share for water. Why? Why is PSWID set up to charge those who consume the least water - the most money?
Sure they will tell they "gave" consumers 'n' amount of water in the transition to higher water prices. Who benefited? Those who consumed the most, while the majority of consumers either maintained their water usage or used less.
PSWID needs to live within their means. That includes a public business model that charges taxpayers for the water they consume within the confines of established parameters and ACC oversight.

It's amusing to me the "full timers" enjoy the fruits of the "part timers" money while badmouthing same. "Part timers" pay the MAJORITY of taxes for the schools, and infrastructure while frequenting the stores / restaurants to keep the lights on.
Imagine what Pine & Strawberry would be without "part timers"?
They may not want us, but couldn't enjoy the life they live without us. I guess the message becomes "we don't have to tell people to shut up and go home, we just have to remind them once in awhile why they live there to begin with".
I agree with the title of this opinion but little else. As a VALUED "part timer"...I pay the same amount of taxes as you do, and when I'm there enjoy the same sunsets and great weather as you do.
What I don't agree with is being a "part timer" and being OVERCHARGED for my share of the costs.
It's simple Mr. Estess. If you use it, pay for it. Don't make the MAJORITY pay for yours.

Hey - you two old men...the world is changing and you're not keeping up.
First old man: Mark Twain said it...before you heard it on faux news. Second old man: wars are over...find other entertainment.
You're welcome.

Let those who supported this individual also find the light to do the right thing and depart.
Kudos to Tom W. and Sam S. for their positions and persistence in this matter.
The healing will only begin when those without monetary interest in water make the rules for those of us paying the overpriced bills.

Funny how this article's author is also associated with selling water to PSWID. Coincidence?

Mr. Estess - you'd be better served to deal with facts as they currently are vs. your bias with regard to the majority.
Telling those who disagree with you to "shut up" answers the question of "who is this person?".
Thanks for clearing that up.
