Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?

Historically, male Principals of High Schools are more successful. Though the female candidates may be very qualified, males are more respected, feared when needed, and positive.

Garrett is my Son and I know how important activities like this are to him and to the other students. They take such pride in helping out and in keeping our area clean. Thank you to Mr. Pirch for making this kind of activity a reality.

I believe this is the best thing that could happen to Payson High School. Instead of concentrating on giving the young people the best education they can, the administration is very concerned with community standing and hypocracy. The drop in enrollment is a direct reflection of this Principal. I have high hopes that whoever is put in that position in the future will BY-FAR do a better job, no matter who it is.

I saw no mention of the truck pull and no pictures. It was one of the highlights of the entire event! Grayson Lance won the 3/4 ton division, David Hardman won the 1/2 ton division. All 4 competitors were local boys! Awesome! The crowd was on their feet!

Thank you Mr. Sandoval. The public needs to know that the District makes errors - including those in judgement. Most critical and harmful error in judgement is having the current Principal of Payson High School in that position. The School District's Core Values include Six Pillars of Character, where she does not possess 3 of them - Fairness, Caring and Respect. I don't believe she's qualified.

I found a wonderful recipe we use for brunch or dinner on a chilly night.
1 dozen eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped chives
1 can chopped green chilis (optional)
Stir above thoroughly.
1 pks Farmer John link sausage (cooked and cut into 1” pieces)
Stir sausage into egg mixture. Pour in sprayed (non-stick coating) 9X13 glass baking dish.
Sprinkle with 1-1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees until done (about 30 min).
Serve with warm biscuits.
Serves 8-10
Easy, quick, and yummy!
