"A magnificent film anyone can enjoy" that "carries a mild PG-13 rating." No wonder our kids are in such a mess when reviewers have become so desensitized they think they are watching an early Disney movie. Go to kids-in-mind.com to find out just how mild "The Martian" really is. We get to see a man's naked backside. Great for kids to see. We get to hear plenty of F-words, S-words, religious profanities, and that only scratches the surface in this "enjoyable" film for anyone. Beware reviewers like this guy. He's no friend to you or your kids.
Good thing we don't mind being called "White-Eyes" in the newspaper. It's all good fun. But if you go to our annual rodeo and look for some Native Americans hanging around and decide to call them "Redskins" in an article, it might not be so much fun. Double Standards?
I'm afraid Mr. Mevis doesn't understand who's being racist here. What I was inferring by the percentages is that Planned Parenthood knows where to go to make the most money. They choose poor inner city minority areas to set up their death camps for pre-born babies.
Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood, hated people of color and wanted to find ways to be rid of them. She founded Planned Parenthood for that purpose, and yet is still regarded as a hero by her followers. A few years ago a Pro-life leader, posing as a would be customer, called up the Planned Parenthood in his area and told the abortionist's assistant he wanted to donate quite a bit of money in order to get rid of as many black babies as possible. The assistant said, "I understand. We will gladly take your donation."
Like Margaret Sanger, the racists are still alive and well in Planned Parenthood killing more minority babies than any other race. In other words, it doesn't make sense that Obama, the NAACP, and other people of color love Planned Parenthood in an almost fanatic way when Planned Parenthood is killing their people.
I have no idea what Mr. Cline is trying to say nor do I get Mr. Mevis' "charioteer" connection or that "honest people write using their own names." My real name is at the bottom of the letter to the editor. Who's been smoking what?
Here's our one and only contribution that we also sent to the editor. Ms. Green will undoubtedly have a heyday with it, but who cares:
We're a bit perplexed the Roundup saw fit to publish the bigoted and intolerant letter by Diane Green on Tues. Apr. 15th. Apparently, if you are Catholic it somehow disqualifies you from being a professional at anything and if a Catholic says anything at all about science, medicine, politics, etc., it's always "a transparent attempt to spread Catholic belief." The only thing faithful Catholics really want to do is spread the truth.
Ms. Green's criminalization of a fine medical doctor just because he is Catholic is appalling. Dr. William Colliton, at the time of his research on birth control pills was Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the George Washington University Medical Center. Also he was only one among 26 other distinguished medical professionals from around the country who signed their names to the document I spoke of in my letter, many undoubtedly not Catholic. Much of their evidence was confirmed by the Alan Guttmacher Institute, which can in no way be mistaken for a Catholic institution.
As for Ms. Green's unfounded belief that the first amendment is not on the verge of collapsing and that religious organizations are exempt from participating in Obama's new unconstitutional draconian laws, you have to read the extremely narrow definition he used for those who are supposedly exempt. Check out the reasons at http://www.usccb.org/news/2011/11-168.cfm. One quote states, "Even the ministry of Jesus and the early Christian Church would not qualify..." Oh but be careful. The link is to a Catholic site. We wouldn't want to secretly indoctrinate you. What hogwash!
Oh sure, sure. We so enjoy speaking to people with so much anger that no matter what you say, you're going to be called insulting names and get blasted with every kind of bigoted remark even when you have no idea who you are talking to or anything about their faith except the tired old "baloney" you've been brainwashed with. Besides, you told us to keep our lies to ourselves because our beliefs harm so many people. Our reasoning comes from a sincere desire to help others. Even to the point of loving our enemies and wishing the best for them. If that's harming people then Jesus was a lunatic. There's nothing that we could ever say that would get through that haze of hate you've armored yourself with. Sure hope you can one day come to grips with yourself. We wonder how many abortions you may have had through procured or contraceptive methods. Otherwise you wouldn't be fighting so hard to rationalize bad behavior and poor choices. Sorry, we're done. Not because there isn't plenty more evidence, but because there really is no point.
My, my. Look what happens when you push a lefty's buttons. And they're such nice people, without agendas, and totally trustworthy too. Blindness comes in many forms. There's no point in continuing a conversation when there are no mature adults to talk to. It's sad that America has reached this point. God have mercy on us all.
Of course when we wrote this letter we knew there would be a lot of howling from leftists who say they are Christian, women who hate men, the "How dare you judge" crowd, "Religion is hypocrisy," "We can help child abuse by killing the children first," etc. Where's the logic? There is none. Did any of them address the problem, or did they veer off into side issues that try to cover up the truth?
So here's the truth, and there is such a thing whether you like it or not. The truth is, women are being, and have always been, manipulated by men. The pill, abortion, and the fact that women are the ones who shoulder the burden in every instance proves it. Of course men want you to continue defending these evils. They get off scot free. The men get all the glory and none of the responsibility. And the funny thing, if it weren't so tragic, is women follow right along, thinking they are liberating themselves.
And you are right. A man has never died from taking contraceptives, or having abortions, or having tons of mental issues like post traumatic stress disorder, suicidal thoughts, depression, addiction, etc. that all come from killing their own children, or taking "medicine" that can kill them or cause irreparable damage to their bodies.
As for forcing religion down peoples' throats. Where is it? The one who is forcing something is the government. If you want to risk your life and take poison, go ahead. We "religious fanatics" only ask that you do not force us to dispense the human pesticides. If you don't like Christian hospitals or companies, then don't go there. It's supposed to be a free country. But how free is it when our Loser-in-Chief in the White house wants to enforce draconian laws and make us obey them unquestioningly. That is called tyranny.
And here's another little tidbit to chew on. The pill is helping to destroy the environment. Contraceptives have been designated by the United Kingdom as powerful pollutants that find their way into our waterways and cause huge problems with fish populations. There is also concern that it is affecting us in our drinking water. Look it up and then try to tell me that everything's all rosy.
Wake up before it's too late.
Addressing Mr. Sutton's revealing statistics: Isn't it interesting that the least educated states (which usually makes them the poorer states too) have elected Republicans rather than Democrats to help turn them around? Could this possibly mean the Republicans are actually the party for the poor and uneducated? Thank you Mr. Sutton for pointing out the obvious.
In response to Mr. Kasl's astute observation above, I'd like to add here a Letter to the Editor that our editor has currently refused to publish:
Common Core is a Crock
Don’t listen to liberals cooing over the new Common Core State Standards (CCSS) cooked up by the likes of Bill Gates and the UN.
The reform known as Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for grades K-12 is designed to produce a universal "work force ready" population prepared to identify themselves as "global citizens." CCSS demotes American values, undermines American constitutional principles and detaches students from their families and faith. The UN knows how difficult it is to convince free people to abandon their country, faith, and culture. They are relying on the indoctrination of coming generations to embrace the principles of globalism.
Critics of CCSS have reported disturbing texts containing crude, sexually explicit readings for teens. Multiple examples of anti-American sentiment abound. The Boston Tea Party is called "a terrorist act." Examples from a grammar lesson relate, "The commands of government officials must be obeyed by all," and "The wants of an individual are less important than the well-being of the nation.”
In grade school textbooks, concepts of justice and equality are given politically biased meanings. “Justice” means the redistribution of wealth and resources. “Equality” dismantles preference for one's own culture, religion, and customs. Data gathered on students is supposedly to improve performance but is in truth a measurement of a student's adjusted attitude and behavior---a Soviet style "managed outcome."
Thoroughly investigate this program and discover the real agenda of Common Core, where the student is a product, schools are processing plants, and teachers are informative delivery agents. The ultimate goal of CCSS is to train workers to serve a one-world government, not the education of children to freely pursue their own identity, ideals, faith, and careers.
Freedom Loving Americans, You Better Wake Up!
Common Core a Crock
Once again, do you notice that Mr. Chamberlain did not listen to a word I said? Do liberals read information differently than normal people? I said we conservatives compared both sides and named several of the ones we watch. Chamberlain apparently didn't get it and brought up only one news outlet, Fox News, as if by watching that particular bain of liberals, it disqualifies conservatives from being open-minded no matter how many other news sources they peruse. Read between the lines and you will see a frustrated, angry, and fearful man who believes anyone who thinks different than him is beneath him. Chamberlain is afraid to watch Fox News or any other conservative venue, because if he did he might be forced to change his tune and his heart. He would actually see things that are being kept from the public by the lame-stream media and would have reliable sources proving it. But that would be too much for any liberal to bear and life wouldn't be so funny anymore. As for which church I go to, I am very particular. I not only go to a church that "preaches compassion and help for the poor" but one that believes in the sanctity of human life from creation to natural death, something liberals like Chamberlain know nothing about because they don't check out "every side." My church preaches that freedom comes with responsibilities to uphold the good and the right. Obamanite churches like the one Chamberlain probably frequents, preach death for unwanted babies and sterile, life-less "marriages" between whomever and whatever anyone wants to marry. They don't preach responsible freedom, they preach license to do whatever you want, to whomever you want, whenever you want, as long as it makes you "happy." And if Chamberlain was to check out the other side he would see that these "happy" people are not happy at all, but are filled with frustration, pain, and fear because they are transgressing God's laws. They would see that the liberal depiction of utopia is the road to death and chaos. But like I said, that would be too much for them. Truth will eventually win out in the end. Too bad the poor Chamberlains of this world will never see it, and therefore never know true peace, joy, and happiness.
