Patricia, I talked with the EYE WITNESSES...did you? Both of the people involved in the two separate incidents asked me to write the letter. Telling me to keep my mouth shut is a pretty futile order ma'am. You letter makes little sense by the way.
Ronald! My goodness...you wrote "struggles to get our kids educated"...I am stunned after your strong opposition to "handouts" as you call them...e.g. help with lunches for the poor kids.
Someone quick!!! Check on Pat Randall, Ron has just given her a heart attack!! Next thing we know you will be supporting the football team and science programs. There's hope for you yet.:):)Ted.
All kidding aside: good letter.
Well said Teel; but the climate change deniers and oil company's current employees and retired old guys like Mr. Welge will never agree with you. Be ready for more blow back by followers of Rep. Thorpe and Sen. Allen who deny there is a problem with climate or oil or coal.
Carl, It's called the School Board...
I thought W.C. Fields said that...
Oh Patricia, you threw more dirt at helping our children's education than anyone posting. You remind me of your heroine Brenda Barton!!
Mr. Thorpe, You are probably not bright enough to realize the only reason the Roundup publishes your crazy rants is to out your ignorance to the public...same with Brenda Barton. God save us from you Conservative quacks...You and your minions say that you are not scientists and then refute 97% of the world's SCIENTISTS...What the heck is wrong with you?! Get on your knees every nite and thank the Lord for the Tea party crazies. Otherwise; you might have to actually work for a living. Ted.
Where did you come up that? I know many teachers and I don't know even ONE that is opposed to getting more money for the school. We voted for a .06 tax increase in 2000 that was supposed to go to the Arizona schools. The bureaucrats in Phoenix took that money and spent it elsewhere...THAT IS A TRUE FACT.
And Ron; It's obvious that you just can't bring yourself to support any program that does not have a direct benefit to YOU...I've been reading your comments for years and you keep playing the same old tired song. "Overpaid bureaucrats"? Do you even know any educators? Arizona pays the least of any state for teachers salaries and the least on spending per student. You were a battalion chief, or whatever, in Anaheim, California and you dare to complain about "Overpaid bureaucrats"? Really?
Pat, I'm shocked, I say SHOCKED, at you; "damn frills"...what language from a woman who still thinks kids should be carry little chalk boards to class! Being so much younger than you, 69, I have seen many of our Payson High graduates use their extra curricular skills to continue their education to earn a diploma (sheepskin to you) from universities...Education is what makes our children become successful adults!
