So, let me see if I've got this right. There are parents of school children who don't want their children to hear a message about the importance of education. What??? Perhaps they'll be proud, should their children decide that school/education just isn't for them.
In all seriousness, the opposition to a message, from the President of the United States, is disturbing, and another example of the frightening polarization of our country.
The president's message will be one of encouragement to work hard in school. It will also be about personal responsibility. How these things could possibly be a bad thing is beyond me.
Done. We're now using Waste Matters, and I've just cancelled our service with WM.
Pat, thanks. I'm actually trying to get them on the phone now. Their line is busy... Gee, I wonder why that is?? As soon as I get set up with them, I'll be canceling service with Waste Management.
Checked the website, while I'm on hold. There is already an option to pay online, through the WM website.
Okay. I've talked with the representative. They will NOT send the bill via email. The only option, outside of the $3 charge for a paper bill, is to sign up for EZ pay. If customers choose to do that, WM will decide when they'll collect the money from either a savings or checking account.
I'm going to call another trash company. Now.
I'm going to call them. I'll suggest that they add the option of sending bill via email. I'll also suggest that they get their website guys busy and set up payment through their website. If they won't make payment possible (and secure) on their website, we could still use bill pay through our personal bank.
Calling WM now.
What promises, exactly, relating to the price of gas?
Thank God slave states weren't spread around the country!
Tom, none taken.
Facts, details, who needs 'em? ;-)
Terri, I wish you hadn't even responded to the criticism. It only dignifies the nit-picking.
