Floodwaters trap rescuers October 6, 2015
Life is so complicated, the hustle and bustle of everyday traumas can make us lose focus about what is truly important in our lives. This week, be sure to give your loved ones an extra hug, and by all means, take a moment... to stop and smell the roses. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless!
Ric, Ron has commented before to my posts with negativity and condemnation. Thanks for sharing your clarity. He may be a little more willing to listen what you have to offer. I will leave it to you.
Bernice, I so wish that there was a shred of hope for civility. However, from what I see and hear, sorry, it's gone.

Mr. Hamric, you haven't been listening or reading to what our group is about. You must have been listening to misinformation and rhetoric of the five board members who resigned. From the unreasonable tone of your rant, it's no use for me to comment because you're neither open or willing to listen. You have already condemned.
Several of the recent articles and comments on the blog refer to volunteering. Anyone donating their time and effort for free as volunteers, should be commended. Most volunteering is a thankless job but it's a higher calling with the purpose being for helping a person, place, cause, etc. Volunteering isn't just helping others, it is really an exchange. Volunteers often say they get back so much more than they give. That being said, it should not be used as a vehicle for gaining power, influencing people or situations, control, personal gain and saying "I'm a hero" or whoa's me, no one appreciates me for volunteering.
In response to my "leading role in the recall" noted in the most recent articles: RECALL PSWID BOARD Committee consists of: Ric Hawthorne - Chairman, Pam Mason - Secretary and Forest McCoy - Treasurer. As a member of the recall, I am mostly the art department.
