    AN UNSEASONABLY STRONG AND COLD PACIFIC LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE
    INTO THE REGION TODAY...RESULTING IN AN INCREASED THREAT OF SHOWERS
    AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
    THUNDERSTORMS WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS ARE A POSSIBILITY.
    THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE MINOR FLOODING
    IN THE MOUNTAINS NORTH THROUGH EAST OF PHOENIX...SPECIFICALLY AREAS
    NEAR THE TOWN OF SUNFLOWER...THE SALT RIVER RECREATIONAL LAKES...AND
    OVER A LARGE PORTION OF SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY FROM LAKE ROOSEVELT TO
    THE CITIES OF GLOBE AND MIAMI.
    THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DIMINISH LATER TONIGHT.
