    THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.
    * AFFECTED AREA...LOWER DESERTS OF ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST
    CALIFORNIA...AS WELL AS HIGHER ELEVATIONS EAST OF PHOENIX...AND
    JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK.
    * TEMPERATURE...AFTERNOON HIGHS BETWEEN 115-120 ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
    THE LOWER DESERTS...AND HIGHS BETWEEN 98-110 IN THE HIGHER
    ELEVATIONS.
    * IMPACTS...EXCEEDINGLY HIGH TEMPERATURES CAN CAUSE HEAT RELATED
    ILLNESS...INCLUDING DEATH...MORE EASILY THAN AN AVERAGE SUMMER
    DAY. THOSE WORKING OR PLAYING OUTDOORS...AND THOSE WITHOUT AIR
    CONDITIONING ARE MOST VULNERABLE.
