I am sad for the many seriously ill, as well as the residence of our community that have a history of chronic addiction to opiates. The miss-guided law enforcement effort and focus on Nature's Harvest has put these people at risk for serious heath setbacks. The drug that was (and still is in some minds) considered a gateway drug has been really successful in getting these people away from addictive pain killers prescribed by mainstream medicine (in abundance I might add) to a much safer alternative way to control pain. Why do we continue to give this much less harmful medication such a stigma. Maybe it's law enforcement way of job security. But at what cost.
