This story makes me sick and not for the reasons you may think. I don't personally know this man nor have I ever met him. And let me point out that I am just a regular Mom of two boys and a grandmother. I am also a survivor of child molestation. That being said I can tell you that if anyone feels that a person attempting or conducting crimes against children should be locked up it's me. However after reading all the stories available none of this makes sense. Just like in the Casey Anthony trial I can't help but wonder if the jury was in the same courtroom or if they were sleeping. And how long did it take them to decide this man was guilty, how long did they deliberate? Can they go to bed tonight and know that they made the right decision and changed this man and his family's lives forever. For one thing how come it took four technictions to work on one computer? Just saying, how come one of technicians got arrested during the trial? How come the technician felt he had to memorialize it by making a video tape? There is something very not right about this case. How come no one can even get this mans age right? None of it make sense, why would anyone "especially a computer expert the prosecution would like you to believe" take their computer to a professional to have it worked on knowing that there may be images on it that could send him to prison. Come on people, what the hell is happening to our country. When a cold blooded murderer kills her own baby and walks free. They convicted an innocent man of child porn. Why do drug dealers walk free? Oh wait it's because they can afford good attorneys. Why do drug addicts walk free after making a deal to testify against the drug dealer who have lots of money to hire good attorney. When a father molest his own little girls and law enforcement ignore all three victims who are willing to come forward and they don't do a damn thing. How about all the Catholic priest who have been transferred to another parish after being exposed just to molest some more children. I have personally witnessed this and seen law enforcement turn blind eye even though they know they are guilty as sin. I have often wondered if they even care if there's nothing in it for them "like a promotion or headlines in the news" And I am sure it happens much more than we know. Once the DA's office "especially in a place like Payson where there aren't a lot of ways to get the head lines" gets hold of a case such as this "and they know that it will further their career by getting an easy conviction" they chomp down on it worse than a pit bulls bit. It makes me sick when prosecutors hang an innocent person just to bolster their conviction rate. Shame on you. You have ruined a family just so you can put another notch on your belt or perhaps get that promotion you want. How do you sleep at night, how do you look at yourself in the mirror when you know what you're doing is wrong? Why is your record more important than the truth or someone's life? I am sure even in Payson there are real criminal that commit real crimes, Why don't you spend your time pursuing the real criminals, people like Casey Anthony or men that molest their own little girls and drug pushers. I guess there are two kinds of justice in this world, One for the people that have tons of money and one for the people that don't. I find it disturbing when a prosecutors conviction rate comes before the truth. It's times like these I hope there really is a hell because If there is I am sure that all the law enforcement personnel who knew the truth but choose to ignore it, fabricate lies or bend the truth to further their career such as has been done in this case will surely end up there. It's things like this that make you have absolutely no trust or faith in our judicial system. It also makes me wonder how corrupt our government has become. When things like this happen it makes me ashamed to say I am an American, we may as well go back to the times when you were burned at the stake because someone said you were a witch. The real criminals are the prosecutors in this case.
