Community Fishing Program explained
Scott Gurtin, Community Fishing Program Supervisor, Arizona Game and Fish will share an overview of the Department’s Community Fishing Program at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 25 at Tiny’s Restaurant as part of the Payson Flycasters’ regular monthly meeting.
The Community Fishing Program includes all three lakes in Payson’s Green Valley Park as well as other lakes around the state. Come and learn about the types of fish that are stocked in the program, how the program is administered and what future plans might include.

Pine Library Friends
Pine Library Friends will meet at 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 27 in the library activity room. Friends President Linda Armstrong says the program committee is in the process of putting together an “interesting program, so be sure to circle the date on your calendar.”
Rim Astronomy Club
Come and learn about the stars, galaxies and wonders of our universe! This month, (weather permitting) the RAC will be looking at the constellation Leo (if high enough in the sky) or the major star factory in Orion. We will be using several small club-owned telescopes to see what the heavens can show us on a budget. We will be outside for part of our meeting, so dress warmly and bring a camp chair to sit on. Computer group changes meeting day
The Payson Area Computer Association will hold its monthly “meet-up” at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday (Feb. 27) in the community room of the Payson Public Library, 328 N. McLane Rd.
The “after hours” entrance door is on the right hand side of the building as you face it. The meetings are free and geared for anyone in the community wanting to learn about today’s technology or share their knowledge with others. Typical meetings will allow for attendees to bring in new devices they can demonstrate, the opportunity to ask computer related questions and breaking into small work groups to focus on software related issues.

Democrats of Rim Country meet Monday

The Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Church of the Holy Nativity are giving a Mardi Gras — Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28. The menu features all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage patty, shoe string potatoes, lemonade and coffee for a donation to local charities. All are welcome.
