Renewal Performing Arts, Payson’s community theatre, presents “Charlotte’s Web” next week.

Based on the book by E.B. White, it will feature 30 Payson performers.

The story follows Wilbur (played by Arielle Blanco, Kiera Bilson, and Trinity Lowery), a young pig trying to avoid a trip to the butcher. Fern (played by Kyndall Hatch), is the young girl who can understands what animals say. She is joined on the farm by Templeton, the gluttonous rat, (played by Hope Fialkosky); Old Sheep (Alexis Jones); Little Lamb (Katie Holdman); Goose (Brooke Jones); Gander (Olivia Loyd); the Zuckerman and Arable families (played by Don Clouston, Vicki Smith, Adriane Blanco, Lin Watts, and Ethan Gurtner); and Charlotte, the spider (performed by Madison Plante).

Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with her web in which she writes, “Some Pig.” It’s the beginning of a campaign, which ultimately ends with Wilbur safe.

Performances are at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 28; 6 p.m., Friday, March 29 and 2 p.m., Saturday, March 30 at Mountain Bible Church, 302 E. Rancho Road.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. Visit for more information about Renewal Performing Arts, a 501©3 non-profit organization whose goal is to present family-friendly entertainment while providing training for aspiring artists in Payson.
