Storytellers Liz Warren, John Genette, Mario Avent, Sally Bland, Doug Bland, Dee Strickland Johnson and Don Doyle entertained more than 100 people in the Pine Community Center for the 17th annual Tellabration.

Rim Country residents can enjoy the magic of an evening of storytelling at the 2018 Tellabration Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Pine-Strawberry Community Center Cultural Hall.

Admission is just $5 at the door, which opens at 6:30 p.m., with the show at 7 p.m.

You can purchase show-only tickets in advance from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday at the Pine-Strawberry Thrift Shop at the community center, 3916 N. Highway 87.

A limited number of guests can also enjoy a pre-program dinner for $25 per person at the Senior Dining Room at the community center.

The menu includes roasted pumpkin soup; pan-fried pork chops with warm cinnamon applesauce; broccoli with cheese sauce; scalloped potatoes; rolls; and a dessert of fried tortillas topped with a mixture of fruit, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream.

Doors for the dinner open at 4:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 5 p.m., but the deadline to purchase tickets to the dinner has expired.

Arrangements for the performers are still being finalized.

Tellabration benefits the area’s Pine-Strawberry Senior Dining Room program and part of the proceeds are also donated to the school to help with expenses for the end-of-year eighth-grade trip.
