Unity concert

Unity of Payson hosts a concert with Daniel Nahmod at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, at 1000 N. Easy St. Preceding the concert from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. is a chili supper at 1000 N. Easy St., at the corner of Sherwood and Easy Street.

Concert tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. A love offering is admission to the supper. A portion of the proceeds will feed local school children through a program coordinated in Payson by concert co-sponsor, Payson United Methodist Church

Nahmod is at Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and his concert is “Heart-Opening Music for Humanity” featuring songs of peace, love and compassion across all nations, cultures and faiths.

He has been featured on dozens of network and cable television shows and cultural events in over 90 countries. His appearances at cultural festivals, interfaith and environmental fairs, workshops and conferences, youth rallies, 9/11 services and benefits for charitable organizations have inspired millions.

He has worked with some of the most influential and brilliant speakers and leaders in the world, including Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, Mark Victor Hansen, and many others.
