As of Monday, March 23 the Payson Senior Center is delivering Meals on Wheels to the homebound seven days a week, with twice weekly visits and wellness checks are continuing.

To limit exposure to the COVID-19 virus, several places are restricting access by the public, but continuing work and some gatherings have been canceled or postponed. Besides the listings that were published in the Friday, March 20 Roundup, the following changes were announced:

Payson Senior Center

The Payson Senior Center has announced the following changes in its services effective Monday, March 23.

• Meals on Wheels homebound are receiving seven meals a week, delivered twice a week. “Well” calls are being made throughout the week.

• Beeline Bus has shorter routes, please visit or call 928-474-4876 for more information.

The Trinkets & Treasures thrift store is closed.

Sanitary district office

The Northern Gila County Sanitary District is continuing service operations, but has postponed tours and large group gatherings. The district office is temporarily closed to all walk-in traffic.

Elks Lodge

The Payson Elks Lodge #2154, 1205 N. Beeline Highway, has canceled the following:

• Sunday Bingo has been canceled for the next two weeks.

• Taco Tuesdays are also canceled for the next two weeks.

• Wednesday Karaoke is also canceled.

• Friday, March 27 — No karaoke; status of Friday night dinner is unknown at this time.
