Are you a business person seeking new ways to maximize your success? EAC’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a one evening seminar entitled, Start Up Smart for Small Business.

This class will be offered at the Gila Community College Payson campus, 201 N. Mud Springs Road, Room 403, on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The course is free and will be taught by Kevin Peck, director of Eastern Arizona College Small Business Development. This class will cover all the basics to help entrepreneurs maximize their success.

Learn the top eight reasons why businesses fail and how to overcome them. The class will also discuss resources available to help small businesses start, grow and prosper.

Topics will include:

  • What to think about ahead of time
  • Why businesses fail and how to avoid it
  • How you can increase your chances of survival
  • Basics of starting a business

The free workshop will provide important information whether you are an established business owner or are thinking about starting a business in the future.
