Daisy donation

Daisy Troop 7447 recently donated money from their cookie sales to Kaitie’s Closet.

Robert Horne of Kaitie’s Closet couldn’t be more appreciative.

Daisy Troop 7447 worked hard selling cookies, then split their earnings with Kaitie’s Closet and the Humane Society of Central Arizona as part of a badge project.

“Part of earning one of our Daisy badges was learning about money,” said Dar Lucius, one of troop leaders. “We discussed spending, saving and sharing the money we earned.”

Kaitie’s Closet provides gently used clothing and new underclothes to Rim Country families in need.
