Local fishing groups have been keeping busy.

On Nov. 5, members of the Payson Flycasters and local Trout Unlimited Chapter 530 collected cans, bottles, papers and other refuse along the banks of all three lakes at Green Valley Park.

The group is always heading up stream and lake improvement projects and holding talks.

Join the Payson Flycasters Nov. 20 at Tiny’s Restaurant for a 9 a.m. presentation by Roundup contributor Jim Strogen and his talk on Rim Country Trout Streams. Come early for Tiny’s breakfasts. Go to www.paysonflycasters.org for information on the club’s conservation and education programs for kids and adults.
