Arizona Becoming an Outdoors-Woman is excited to announce a new venue for the January 2022 workshop.

The camp will be at the Triangle Y Ranch Camp ran by the YMCA of Southern Arizona. The venue is near Oracle on the north side of the Catalinas.

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) is a nonprofit program. BOW does hands-on outdoor workshops held in a safe, supportive atmosphere with patient, enthusiastic instructors. No experience necessary. BOW is for adult women of all fitness levels. BOW is sponsored by the Arizona Wildlife Federation with support from the Arizona Game and Fish Department.

The workshop begins on Friday at noon and ends Sunday at noon. There will be four sessions during the weekend, with six class choices for each one. Classes range from outdoor photography to bow hunting. The Triangle Y has a giant climbing tower and zipline. Perhaps archery or Arizona wildflowers is more suited for you. They will also offer ax throwing and gold panning. Evenings will feature local speakers, wildlife bingo and campfires. Cost for the weekend is $360. Food, lodging and class materials provided.
