Payson Mayor Tom Morrissey wants to hear from you.

In a new feature to the Roundup, Morrissey will answer questions from readers.

Morrissey said he hopes to tackle a wide range of issues, from his plan to tackle homelessness to Main Street redevelopment and the proposed Hellsgate/Payson/Houston Mesa fire departments merger.

Voters elected Morrissey in August and he took his seat in December along with a number of new councilors.

Morrissey said he has a long list of things he wants to accomplish in his two-year term, including brining greater transparency to government, ending tax increases and possibly repealing the tax on food, tackling drug addiction and homelessness and meeting with business owners.
