Police K-9s and their handlers will be in Payson July 16 for training and a public demonstration.

The Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association is returning to Payson for its annual K-9 Officer Survival Seminar.

A public demonstration of K-9 skills is at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 16 at the Payson Event Center, gates open for the free event at 5 p.m.

Hosted in part by the Payson Police Department and the Gila County Sheriff’s Office, the event will have K-9 shirts and souvenirs available for purchase. There will also be a 50-50 raffle, food and drinks.
