Turns out, even angels need a little space — and maybe some help from the higher powers.

“We’re stuck together,” said one angel during the Payson Christian School Christmas Program, looking for help from a teacher.

Indeed, something on one of their costumes was caught on her classmate’s costume. The teacher came to the rescue, freeing the students and saving the day.

The show must go on, after all.

And what a show it was as Payson Christian School students entertained parents and grandparents with music before acting out the Nativity on Friday, Dec. 21.

The show, produced by Ms. Sterner, with music director Mrs. Conti and art designer and co-director Mrs. Tan. Mrs. Campbell accompanied the students on guitar on several songs and Mrs. Tan played the harp.

The Nativity scene closed the show in grand style with the cutest sheep, cows, donkeys and camels you’ll ever see, as well as an actual baby in a star turn as Baby Jesus.

Parents packed the PCS New Gym, many doing their best to capture the precious moments by shooting digital video on their smartphones.

They don’t want to forget these fleeting moments.

As much as they’d love to be, they know they can’t be stuck together with their children forever.

Well, maybe they can find an angel to grant that wish.
