Ede passed away peacefully at age 84 on Dec. 22, 2018. She was born in Mt. Ephriam, Ohio on Jan. 30, 1934.

Ede was beloved wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She is survived by her daughter Darlene Mae Hoeg (Bill, granddaughter Jeanette Mae & brother Carson Abrams. Ede was preceded in death by her husband Frank who was a former U.S. Marine.

Frank & Ede used to be truck drivers cross country. She was a member of Soroptimist of Zane Grey since 1984, she was active in a local Bunco group, worked at Trinkets & Treasures for 5 years, and as a hostess at the Rye Bar. She loved Western music and love to dance.

A celebration of life will be held on Sat. April 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 414 Easy St., Payson, AZ 85541. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Payson Senior Center, on Main Street or to Soroptimist, PO Box 1554, Payson, AZ 85547
