James Warner 1939-2019

James Warner, age 79 of Merrill, Iowa formerly of Sheldon, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at his daughter’s residence in Paullina.

James Warner, the son of Earl and Loretta Marmon was born on July 12, 1939 in Sheldon, Iowa. Jim married Marge Kuiper on April 7, 1959 in Hull, Iowa. To this union, three children were born, Kim, Jim and Tammy. Jim was an over the road truck driver for 50 years. He passed away at his daughter, Kim’s residence on June 14, 2019 reaching the age of 79 years, 11 months and 2 days.

Jim loved to travel in his motorhome wherever it would take him. He also enjoyed airplanes and going to air shows. Two of his favorite things to do were spending time with his family and having coffee with his friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kim and her husband, Dan Ebel of Paullina; son, Jim Warner of Sheldon, Iowa; and daughter, Tammy Helmer of Payson, Arizona; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; also nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Luke Warner and Brittini Ebel; three sisters, Dee Miller, Mickie Langholz and Jeanne McCombs.

James’ celebration of life for family and friends will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Dan & Kim Ebel’s residence at 4623 Olive Ave. Paullina, Iowa 51046.

Arrangements are under the care of the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.
