Good Guys

Editor:

My husband and I moved to Payson around 20 years ago. At that time, the Payson Roundup had a weekly (feature) called “The Good Guy Award.” Well, I notice that it is no longer in the newspaper and I do miss it. Especially since I have two people that I would like to nominate (as Good Guy).

My husband passed away suddenly in April 2018. And these two people came to my home for a sale. It was as though we had always been friends. Their names are Les and Debbie Aker.

Hardly a day passes that I do not talk to Debbie. She’s a breath of fresh air and is such a positive person and it’s hard not to be positive when I’m around her.

She has helped me with my taxes, my computer, my printer and she has been here when I needed her.

I feel so blessed that Les and Debbie came into my life when they did.

Les is a people person and he makes it a point to make people feel comfortable around him. In addition, he’s an excellent mechanic. He fixed my car when my insurance company totaled it out, and I would rate him as a five-star mechanic hands down.

Les and Debbie are definitely keepers. I can never thank them enough for all that they have helped me with.
